Johnny Garcia’s Artist Statement

About Johnny: Born and raised in San Francisco, California, in the heart of the Haight-Ashbury, Johnny Garcia was influenced by his community and cultural revolution that was taking place. Free love and true expression. These teachings created the perfect foundation for living and exploring his artistic abilities open-heartedly. Johnny had always been interested in the arts as an onlooker, but it wasn't until the year 2000 that he became active in the arts by working as both a freelance photographer and as an assistant to an internationally-recognized artist who, at one point, suggested that Johnny try painting.
